A warm welcome to this retreat at the wonderful and fantastic farm and retreatplace Fiskabäck, surrounded by magnificent nature in Österlen, Sweden!
At this free movement dance retreat, you are invited to connect with your roots, move in nature, explore and dig deep into your movements.
Throughout this retreat, we will invite you to connect with the natural world around you, to feel the earth beneath your feet, and to move from a place of deep grounding and rootedness. We will also explore your roots, your ancestors and how you can get nourished by nature. There will be time for dancing, sharing, touch, silence, rest and time in nature.
This retreat is all about freedom – freedom to move, freedom to express, and freedom to be yourself. You are welcome regardless of whether you are new to this movement practice or have danced for a long time. Welcome as you are!
We dance morning and night. Every day you will be served three meals with vegetarian food. In the afternoons you have free time to spend time as you wish.
At Fiskabäck there is a magical and beautiful dome, where we dance. Here you have a view of the beautiful garden and nature is present as the dome is open on one side. We will also dance in nature with silent disco headphones, one day by the sea and another time near Fiskabäck. (weather permitting)
In the afternoons, there is free time for you to choose according to your wishes and needs. Every day there is an opportunity to join an excursion to some of the pearls of Österlen. If you want to go on your own adventure, you are of course welcome to do so! Österlen is a lovely place with so much to offer, beautiful nature, wonderful beaches, lots of art, cute villages, lovely cafeès. Here is something for everyone!
There is always the option of wanting to stay at beautiful Fiskabäck, rest some, perhaps go for a walk, or maybe read a book.

About Maria
Dance is for me an elixir of life! For me, dance is a fantastic way to get in touch with myself and to feel my inner self, my energy and essence. I’ve always loved to dance, but when I found free dance and 5 rhythms, that’s where I found home. This was almost 20 years ago and since then dance has been a big part of my life. Since 8 years ago I have been sharing my own dance: Body & Soul Movement. I am a trained Body Movement Coach and am currently in the 5 rhythms training. I love to share my passion for the dance and!
My dance space is imbued with trust in the wisdom, power and healing of dance and movement.

Avbokningspolicy
If you cancel two weeks before the event, a 50% refund will be given. If you cancel a week before, 25% will be refunded and after that the ticket is non-refundable. You are welcome to give or sell your ticket to someone else.
Each course fee includes a booking fee of SEK 800 which is not refunded upon cancellation.

Carpooling
We will try to carpool to the retreat as much as possible and will create a thread about it in the event. For those of you who travel by train/bus and need to be picked up in Brösarp at the bus stop, just write to me and I will arrange that for you.
About Fiskabäck
Our retreat center “Fiskabäck” is old farm from the 18th century and is located near Brösarp in Norra Österlen. Here there are animals; chickens, peacocks and cats, and is surrounded by a beautiful garden. There are open fields and forest around Fiskabäck. The farm is at the end of a dirt road and it`s peace and quiet is special. There is a wood-burned sauna and cold tub that we can use.
The rooms are simple and beautiful. There is a sleeping loft and a number of double rooms. The accommodation price includes bed linen and a towel.
